More BLD NYE
1. Bring bathing suits. If the weather is good, we can swim at my parents' pool.
2. You can show up anytime starting Friday morning if you want. I'll be taking Friday off to clean up the house and mowing the lawn and stuff.
3. My parents offered their house for the weekend for folks to crash at. They will be there, but they have plenty of rooms, and they live ~15 mins away. It may make sense for folks with portable kids (i.e., newborns) or no kids. Let me know if that's something you want to consider.

We're planning to spend Friday in DC, visiting some monuments, museums, and panda bears. We're going to drive to NJ Saturday morning. We'll be there sometime before lunch.
Great! You're welcome to stay at my parents' house, if you like, or in our backyard, or you can the family room if you prefer. Let us know what you'd like.

I plan to arrive by 6 on Friday evening, if that works for you guys. (Lincoln is arriving later--he will call you, Dan.) We are fine to stay at your parents' house--they are very generous to offer to house people!
Also let us know what we can bring in terms of food, general supplies, etc. since we are traveling by car.

I think it's awesome that you are hosting this BLD NYE in June extravaganza. I'm sorry that I've been so iffy. I had hoped to maybe be able to get away before intern year starts, but as it turns out, I'm pretty stressed out about it and will need to stay home, getting Joe, my house, and myself prepared. Please keep those of us who can't make it updated! Pictures, please!
I'm so sorry you're not going to make it Kristin! We'll miss you! I'll try to take lots of pictures. I hope the start of your intern year is terrific!
I never thought I would say this.. I wish I were going to New Jersey.
We'll definitely miss seeing everyone. Except Lincoln. I think I can hear him snoring from here.
