June 13-14 - Greater Philadelphia
BLD New Years 2009 will officially be in the greater Philly area the weekend of June 13-14. The Mazzuccos and the Walshes will conspire to keep us busy. If we're lucky, some of us might even get invited to Mary Grace's birthday party, so be on your best behavior between now and then.
So fly, drive, swim, whatever. Dan, Shannon/Kevin, let us know what you think the best sleeping accomodations might be.
The only remaining question is what could Lincoln possibly have to do for two full days that is more important than seeing all of us? Laura is the better half anyway, so we'll gladly enjoy her company without him.
Can't wait to see everyone and meet all of our new little BLDers.

Thanks Amanda. :) At least the BLD will be saved from Lincoln's deafening snoring. Seriously, though, Lincoln will probably be able to come for some length of time, and we are both so pleased that this gathering is taking place!
Devon, Jaya, and I will have to bow out gracefully of the inaugural New Year's in June. While the excuses are many and wide-ranging, I pin the blame primarily on the fact that we move into our new house in a week. Available resources, including time, money, and energy will be in short supply so soon after closing and moving. Jaya was just expressing her regret at not being able to meet everyone today. In her own words, "Ba ba ba ba ba ba ba, ahhhhhhh!" I (really) couldn't say it any better myself.
We'll miss you all!
Hillary, Madeleine, and I will be in attendance unless something unexpected comes up between now and then. We are planning to drive, and have booked reservations at an inexpensive Howard-Johnson in Mt. Laurel, near the Mazzuccos. Unfortunately, Gretl and Sam will not be making the trip, but they send their love, as well as small tufts of fur that will inevitably be making the trip clinging to our clothes.
