Wassup?
Nothing about Jon being bored or Kristin's research for weeks. What's going on in BLD land?
And does anyone have Doug & Ann's home phone number?
a gathering spot for BLDers

i've got 2 numbers for doug & anne. i still don't know if this blog is private or not, though, so i'll email them to you.
i was actually going to post something today, even though i really didn't have anything to say (shocking) because no one had put anything up here in a while.
i spent the weekend in Louisville for a wedding - one of hillary's friends from Kenyon. it was actually a good time. obviously i've been to several weddings over the years, but this was the first one i attended with my own in mind, so it was helpful to pay attention to what was going on and get a better idea of what i did and didn't like.
we still haven't picked out our song list for the dj. if you have any requests, let me know!!!
We just had the parents/in-laws in town for 10 days (my mom for five days and then Chad's mom and stepdad for 5 days). It went better than expected, and we even got to go out to the movies one night after the baby went to bed. (We went to see Amazing Grace, which we really liked. I definitely recommend it.)
Unfortunately, now that everyone is gone, my dear little Caitlyn is suffering from serious attention withdrawal. I had to make a trip to the grocery store today, which of course is never a pleasant or easy task with three small children. But today was bad. Very bad.
I never dreamed that one of the biggest luxuries in life would be going to the grocery store by myself.
Dan,
I hate to bust your bubble, but I haven't been doing research for almost 3 years now. But, in an update, I'm on OB nights right now. They are tough.
I haven't really been posting because I haven't had too much to say that's positive lately. So, I've been trying to just get through and then maybe I can say the positive, "I'm done!". Not yet, though. Three more weeks. Then, I have Internal Medicine and we'll see how that goes.
I hope that everyone is doing well.
Has it been that long since the glory days of BLD blogging?
Hmm... Upon archival review, it's also been about 2 years since Jon's life was boring.
I don't wish boredom or research upon either of you, but I do remember fondly the blogs of such grimmer times.
