Snugglebugs & Wiggleworms LLC
I am starting my own business called Snugglebugs & Wiggleworms, a custom sewing business making children's clothing and interiors. I'm pretty excited about it. (The name comes from my nicknames for our kids.) Doug has graciously agreed to help me with my webpage. Another friend is going to design a logo for me. I will be making the whole gamut of children's clothing, from dresses and pants to skirts and coats, etc. I also make bedding, curtains, etc. for baby nurseries and kids' bedrooms, and some other things including tepees, diaper bags, sleeping mats, little kid-sized chairs, etc. My current plan is to sew as much as I can this summer to make a lot of demo pieces, and then have a business launch party in the early fall.
It's all very fun starting a business -- filing articles of organization, getting a tax id number. Kevin likened it to when we got college recognition to the BLD. Anyway, I'm very excited about it all.

That's awesome! Be sure to keep us updated. Josh and I already want to place an order. (I'll be even more excited about ordering a little something if we have a baby girl in September.)
Dan's all talk. Shannon is all about action I tell you! I want to be on the mailing list for the first homebrewed BLD business. We might be a future customer... Farther in the future than 9 months though.
Shannon,
I would be happy not only to pass out cryptic flyers but also to edit and publish a newsletter from scratch that will be distributed about three times. Let me know when you want me to start. Kevin can help.
And me! When the site is up, please let me know. For those who have not been to B'ham or Mountain Brook, in particular...there are a lot of customers for stuff like that here. Plus, everyone I know is having kids. If you get a catalog printed, that would help, but even a business card would be good. I could hand them out and you would definitely get orders from here. Do MG and C get to be your models?!?! They would be very good at it...they have the smiles down, that's for sure.
That's great, Shannon! Definitely keep us posted. I'd love to order some things. Sounds like fun!
