Not all Talk
Three colleages and I have filed to incorporate Third Eye Associates, Inc. We are a consulting firm dedicated to helping bring new technologies to market in the medical device industry. We are also applying for a department of defense grant to design a device that would screen blast victims for traumatic brain injury by looking in the eye.
I have not quit my day job, but you can address business correspondence to dmazzucco at 3-e-a dot com.
I would happily accept help with web site and newsletter.
Dan
PS Doug and Ann, Betsy and I would like to have dinner with you next weekend (24th) in the boston area. We'll be in Devens.

That's awesome, Dan! Your corporation is clearly on a much different order of magnitude than mine is. I'm so excited for you.
Dan,
I would be happy not only to pass out cryptic flyers but also to edit and publish a newsletter from scratch that will be distributed about three times. Let me know when you want me to start. Kevin can help.
Congratulations, Dan! I must admit, it seems we're more likely to be able to directly support Shannon's business than yours, but we'll let you know if we ever have a new technology to bring to the market.
Hi Dan,
Good for you! If I can help at all, don't hesitate to ask. I have all kinds of questions about your traumatic brain injury screening, and will anxiously await any additionally information that you feel comfortable sharing. I know a thing or two about the brain and if I can ever be any help or call on anyone I know to help, please do not hesitate to ask. Brains rule!
ps. If one were to have an idea, does your company operate like plantiff's lawyers (i.e. by retainer as opposed to up front cold hard cash) by chance? (insert sheepish grin)
Shannon, the main differences between your corporation and mine are a) yours has a better name and b) yours will probably be profitable more quickly. Both will probably employ child labor.
Jill, you might be able to help me with my web site if Doug is not available or if Doug is working on the video game.
Kristin, I can't tell you much yet, but I may be able to talk and may have questions in a few months.
And Kristin, I think you're asking whether we would work on "contingency." We may work on contingency or for equity if we had a lot of confidence in the near-term future of the product, or if we had some cash flow. Right now we have no cash flow, so we probably need to work for cash. However, if we can't get anyone to hire us, we might do something on a special deal just to get some work. I'll let you know when we're really in business.
Dan
dan,
thank you for meticulously responding to everyone's comments except mine.
yeah, that's what I meant. Don't tell my husband. I know nothing of what he does. And, we won't talk about how quickly I'm learning...
