Papsdorfs Leap Forward in Technology

That's right...the Papsdorfs now have...an answering machine. You won't hear any goofy recordings from us, though. We've still got the generic voice that came with it. Someday we might get around to personalizing it. In the meantime, you no longer have to call the cell phone to leave us a message. I'm sure you've all been praying for this day to come.

In other news, the Papsdorfs also purchased a new laptop computer. We had thought about one last winter, but decided Josh really wanted it to play games and the Playstation was cheaper, so we got that instead. Then, the screen started to go on the old laptop. Josh had to finish his last paper typing one-handed so he could squeeze the screen together just right with the other hand in order to see the words. Sadly, it continued to deteriorate until at one point, Josh was holding the screen with two hands and I was using the keyboard to extract information saved on the hard drive. We ordered one immediately. So far I've mostly used it to play Civilization, but it seems to be fantastic. Such exciting lives the Papsdorfs lead.

Hope to see you all this weekend!
